A hooligan (Vladimir Mayakovsky) sees young schoolmistress on the street and falls in love with her. Soon he begins to attend her classes. The Lady and the Hooligan is the only surviving film written, co-directed by and starring the great Russian poet, Vladimir Mayakovsky (1893-1930).
