A piano virtuoso fascinated by both classical and contemporary repertoires and a lover of painting and poetry, Alain Planès is the central figure of L’Infini Turbulent, a film written and directed by violinist Dominique Lemonnier, also known as Solrey. An intimate and humane portrait of a versatile artist, L’Infini Turbulent reveals the sources of inspiration and the determining encounters of a lifetime (Miró, Boulez, Pressler, Serkin…) woven out of the bonds and correspondences that music evokes from the different areas that interest him. The screening will be followed by a recital by Planès, with a set list that mirrors the film, featuring works by Stockhausen, Schubert and Shostakovich.
