Leonor da Silveira Moreno e Lemos Gomes, born in October the 28th, 1970,  is a Portuguese film actress who made her film debut in The Cannibals for director Manoel de Oliveira in 1988. She appeared in most of Oliveira's subsequent films.


Leonor studied in Lycée Français Charles Lepierre and graduated in International Relations, in Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa (1995).
She became an actress on the hands of director Manoel de Oliveira, becoming a true icon of his cinematography. She has also starred in films by João Botelho, Joaquim Pinto, Luís Galvão Teles, Vicente Jorge Silva.


Leonor has also integrated the jury of several film festivals, such as Festival Internacional de Curtas-Metragens de Vila do Conde (1997), São Paulo International Film Festival (2000), Marraquexe International Film Festival (2003), Cannes Film Festival (2009), San Sebastien Film Festival (2010).


Leonor Silveira will be present in LEFFEST, Wednesday the 21st, at 17:15, in Centro Cultural Olga Cadaval, to present the film O Cinema, Manoel de Oliveira e Eu.
