ISABELLE HUPPERT— Woman of many faces

Isabelle Huppert is the great honoree of this year's LEFFEST - Lisbon & Sintra Film Festival'17, which presents a retrospective of the films she starred in and a glamorous exhibition: Isabelle Huppert: Woman of Many Faces. Isabelle Huppert will attend the exhibition opening and the film sessions Malina and Souvenir.

Actress of great complexity and sophistication, Isabelle Huppert worked with the most charismatic and prestigious directors such as Jean-Luc Godard, Werner Schroeter, Claude Chabrol, Otto Preminger or Michael Cimino. Of the numerous and memorable performances we highlight: Malina, Heaven's Gate, Une Affaire de Femmes, La Cérémonie (Chabrol) and the more recent La Pianiste and Amour (Haneke)  and Hong Sangsoo's Claire's Camera, not yet released in Portugal. 

The exhibition Isabelle Huppert: Woman of Many Faces is curated by Ronald Chammah and Jeanne Fouchet-Nahas. It was presented at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and will be displayed at MU.SA - Museum of the Arts of Sintra, opening on November 18th , with the presence of the actress and artists with whom she collaborated with. Woman of Many Faces brings together over a hundred photographs, video-portraits and video-installation by some of the most important artists of the last decades, from different generations and countries. Henri Cartier Bresson, Nan Goldin, Robert Frank, Helmut Newton, Cindy Sherman, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Robert Wilson, Antoine d'Agata, Raymond Depardon, Robert Doisneau, Josef Koudelka, Annie Leibovitz and Herb Ritts.
