This is the poster for the 14th edition of the LEFFEST - Lisbon & Sintra Film Festival that took place between the 13th and the 25th of November 2020 at Cinema Nimas and Tivoli BBVA Theatre in Lisbon, as well as at Centro Cultural Olga Cadaval in Sintra.
Inspired by the imaginary of science fiction, of which 2001: Space Odyssey remains the great paradigm, this poster has been conceived in a particularly unusual moment of global history: a period of uncertainty which has come to challenge much of what we once took for granted.
Taking into account this confrontation with the unknown, the poster opens the door to a future which is under construction. This edition’s programme, whose quality will not be compromised by present times’ limitations, will soon be disclosed in its full glory.
