Rodrigo Rey Rosa is a Guatemalan writer considered to be one of the most relevant Latin-American authors of today, and who was praised by the great Chilean writer Roberto Bolaño as “the most rigorous, transparent and luminous writer” of his generation. He has also directed two adaptations of his work to film: Lo que soñó Sebastián (2004) and Cárcel de árboles (2015), which will be screened at LEFFEST during a special session featuring the presence of the author himself.
