Chameleon Street

William Douglas Street is tired of his routine and of the people around him. He decides to become somebody else, or rather, several other people. From journalist to doctor to lawyer, his reinvention takes the shape of a true social chameleon. Based on the real-life story of an North-American con artist who went through 36 impersonations before being caught, Chameleon Street navigates through the fluid fabric of our own representations and identities as these shape and are shaped in turn by the racial, cultural and political conditions of modern society.
