Le Parti des Choses: Bardot et Godard

After filming Le Mépris, directed by Jean-Luc Godard in 1963, Jacques Rozier directs two short films that complement each other: Paparazzi and Le Parti des Choses. While in the former, Rozier had split up from the film crew so as to capture the paparazzi, for the latter, he immerses himself in the very act of creation of Le Mépris, revealing the daily gestures of the technicians, the movements of the actors, the instructions of the director and the role played by chance itself.
