He is a frequent collaborator for several publications, particularly Artpress, Beaux-Arts Magazine, Parkett, Tate Etc. and Cahiers du Musée national d’art modern. He worked as a chronicler for the French radio (France Culture and Radio Nova). He has written numerous essays, catalogs and books on contemporary art, with a special highlight on his biography of Duchamp, Marcel Duchamp, la vie à credit (2007). From his long activity as a curator, the highlight is the exhibit he organized with Marie-Laure Bernadac in 1995, Féminin-Masculin, Le sexe de l’art, at the National Museum of Modern Art, at the Georges Pompidou Center.

In the current edition of the festival LEFFEST, Bernadac will curate the symposium entitled Can art still be subversive today?, along with Marie-Laure Bernadac, involving many international artists, directors, philosophers, musicians and actors.
