Landscape Architect and Professor

With a PhD in Landscape Techniques and Aesthetics, Ana Luengo Añon is a Spanish landscape architect, Vice President of the Spanish Association of Public Parks and Gardens, and the former president of the European Region of the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA EUROPE). A member of the National Committee of the Spanish ICOMOS and of the ICOMOS-IFLA Committee on Cultural Landscapes and Historic Gardens, she has also been a lecturer and course director at several universities in Spain as well as in Belgium, France, Italy and Portugal, amongst others. She is the co-founder of Citerea, an award-winning multidisciplinary group of specialists on landscape architecture and environmental design, and has published numerous research projects, articles and books in several languages, including World Heritage Cultural Landscapes (2012) in collaboration with UNESCO World Heritage Center.
