António Guerreiro is a journalist and essayist. After graduating in Languages and Modern Literature from the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Lisbon, Guerreiro became an Assistant Professor of the course ‘Introduction to Literary Studies’ at Porto School of Education in 1986. Between 1989 and 2013, he worked as a literary critic and cultural journalist at the famous weekly Portuguese newspaper Expresso. He is currently a columnist at Ípsilon, a cultural supplement of Jornal Público, where he continues to publish articles on contemporary Portuguese culture, literature, art and aesthetics.
