The grandson of “Farruco”, an undeniable flamenco myth, Farruquito began to dance by and with him, stating that his grandfather's soul is still alive, sharing the essence of flamenco. As he said: “My grandfather is a new shadow on my body. I am a branch of that big trunk he planted.”
Farruquito's first public appearance was on a BBC program when he was just three years old and continued. At the age of five, he participated on Broadway in the show “Flamenco Puro”, when twelve years old, he danced with his grandfather in the film “Flamenco” by Carlos Saura, and later, after his grandfather's death (1997), he created his first show “Flemish Roots”. Farruquito has always danced and never stopped dancing, being today known as one of the best flamenco artists in the world.
In addition to his undisputed fame, Farruquito is considered one of the heirs of pure, classic flamenco.
