Marianne Basler is a French actress born in Belgium. With vast experience in the field, she has worked on more than 80 films and several theatre plays. She is better known for the films The Cruel Embrace (1987) directed by Marion Hänsel, A Soldier's Tale (1989) by Larry Parr and Midnight in Paris (2011) by Woody Allen. A close collaborator of cult filmmaker Paul Vecchiali, Basler has starred in many of his films, including in his most recent Un Soupçon D’amour (2020).
