President of the Algerian League for the Defense of Human Rights

Salah Dabouz i sone of the most important voices in Algeria’s current revolutionary movement.


He was the president of LADDH - Algerian League for the Defense of Human Rights, an independent association founded in 1985, and is known for his incessant battle for civil rights in Algeria. Dabouz co-created the Autonomous Union of Lawyers in Algeria and participates in the Human Rights Committee for the International Association of Lawyers. He also defended several Algerian activists, among whom Kamel Eddine Fekhar.
