Professor of Human Geography

Víctor Fernández Salinas is a professor of Human Geography at the Faculty of Geography and History of the University of Seville. His academic research focuses on the relationship of culture and heritage towards its territory and its implications within the realm of the city and urban history, especially in regards to the city of Seville. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the ICOMOS Spain National Committee, an institution for which he has carried out numerous reports and studies, especially on candidate cities or cities belonging to the World Heritage List.
