Viggo Mortensen is a North-American and Danish actor and director. One of the most renowned actors today, Mortensen became internationally recognized for his role as Aragorn in the fantasy adventure trilogy The Lord of the Rings (2001–2003). He received several nominations for the Oscars and the Golden Globes for his leading roles in films such as Eastern Promises (2008) by David Cronenberg, Captain Fantastic (2016) by Matt Ross and the Green Book (2018) by Peter Farrelly. His directorial debut Falling (2020) will be screened at LEFFEST’20.
