AWARD-WINNERS OF THE LEFFEST'17

The present edition of Lisbon & Sintra Film Festival wraps up with the Official Selection's award winners.
Russian feature film CLOSENESS, by Kantemir Balagov, was the big winner of the 11th edition of LEFFEST, scooping the Best Film Award Jaeger-LeCoultre and the TAP Revelation Award. It will be screened today in sala 1 at Cinema Medeia Monumental, at 9.15PM.
COCOTE, by Nelson Carlo de los Santos Arias, won the "João Bénard da Costa" Special Jury Award and it will be screened in sala 1 at Cinema Medeia Monumental, at 6.30PM.
The closing session where the winners were announced also saw filmmakers and artists being awarded for their notorious body of work. The awarded were Abel Ferrara, Enrique Vila-Matas, José Vieira, João Mário Grilo and Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster.
