Must-see concerts at LEFFEST 21 – Tickets on Sale

Featuring unique performances by great names in music as part of the distinct program that celebrates Rom Culture, one of the main focuses of the festival, LEFFEST’s 15th anniversary brings concerts by Taraf de Caliu, Josémi Carmona Trio with guest artist Pepe Habichuela and “Farruquito", Mónika Lakatos, Ricardo Ribeiro, Areno and Diego El Gavi, and Emir Kusturica & The No Smoking Orchestra. 

Double concert: Josémi Carmona, the famous flamenco guitarist and composer, and his Trio, and the invited artist Pepe Habichuela. Josémi’s father, a mythical figure from the golden age of Flamenco, and Farruquito, considered by The New York Times as “the greatest flamenco’s dancer of this century”.
November 12th, Tivoli BBVA Theatre

Concert: Taraf de Caliu. Clejani's musicians are the latest generation of lautari who keep the tradition of this authentic southern Romanian music alive, making them one of the best gypsy bands in the world.
November 13th, Teatro Tivoli BBVA Theatre

Double concert: Mónika Lakatos - the first Rom singer to receive the WOMEX Artist Award, the most prestigious award in World Music, in 2020 - and Ricardo Ribeiro, one of the most relevant interpreters of the so-called new generation of fadistas, whose repertoire is characterized by rhythmic and musical diversity. 
November 14th, Olga Cadaval Cultural Center

Double concert: Areno and Diego El Gavi take us on an immersive two-part journey through the latin sounds of Romani culture.
November 19th, Olga Cadaval Cultural Center

Concert: Emir Kusturica & The No Smoking Orchestra take charge of LEFFEST’s 15th anniversary closing ceremony, where the cult Serbin filmmaker plays guitar for the famous Belgrade group.
