Lisbon & Estoril Film Festival

Espaço Nimas will host a Special Session of the LEFFEST, with Michel Gondry’s Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004), starring Kate Winslet and Jim carrey.

This film tells the story of Joel, who resorts to a procedure to remove his ex-girlfriend, Clementine, from his memory, after finding out she had done the same to him. But as he is losing his memories, Joel regrets his decision and it may be too late to turn back.

The introduction to the film is relevant to emphasize the connection between this work and Daniel Fish’s theater show Eternal, which LEFFEST will screen in two special sessions.

Gondry’s film will be screened on November 6th, at 11:15 PM, at Espaço Nimas, with the presence and introduction by stage director Daniel Fish. Later, it will be presented at Casa das Histórias Paula Rego, at 4 PM, on the 10th. Daniel Fish’s installation will be screened twice as well, on November 7th, first at 5 PM, and later at 9 PM, at Teatro Nacional D. Maria II.
